"This place was recommended to me by my brother via Anthony Bourdain and they were both spot on! It's a quirky looking place in a strip mall and there was construction out front but once we were in we were hooked! The waitress was very sweet and helpful. Her limited English and our limited Spanish was not a problem at all. When you're talking food, it's an international language! We ordered two Frita Originals. She recommended we get the Frita Super with egg so if course we said yes! She had both sandwiches cut in half so my husband and I could try both of them easily. They were both fantastic! He LOVED the sweetness the plantains added to the supreme and I loved the simplicity of the original. The spices added to the patty for this amazing sandwich was out of this worl delicious. We also order corn fritters that were amazing and fries that were good as well. If you're in the Miami area you must try El Rey De Las Fritas. .. my mouth is watering thinking about now!"

"First time eating Fritas still don’t know what it is, but it’s really good. We had Frita doble and Frita a caballo. Both so delicious. We tried the newest shake Calypso (mamey & papaya) delicious! Definitely recommended."
