I also really don’t like how wasteful they are. Everything is given in to-go bags and packaging even if you eat in. It’s unnecessary wasteful."

But head outside, and you’ll find a staircase leading to a spacious upstairs dining area with enough room for about 20 people. Now, onto the food—it’s fresh, simple, and leans into the health-conscious vibe Pura Vida is known for. However, the prices feel a bit steep, with most dishes seeming about $3 over what they should be. That said, the quality is still solid. This time, I ordered through Uber Eats to take advantage of my AMEX monthly credit. The food was ready in under 10 minutes, well-packed, and arrived just as expected. I went with the pesto chicken sandwich, which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was juicy, the tomato was fresh, and the pesto had a nice balance, with basil notes coming through beautifully. Overall, Pura Vida in Edgewater is a reliable choice. While it may not be the best value for money, you can count on a fresh and tasty meal."
