"Had a relatively great time at Sofia’s Italian in the Miami Design District. Now let me say, I know it was Mother’s Day, so I will preface my review on that, but it wasn’t like every single seat in the place was filled, it was relatively busy, but took more than twenty minutes after the server came to give us water to get our drink order and then twenty more minutes to receive the drinks. After this though, our server was awesome. Guess it was just a rough start to the day. The food was fun and playful. The oysters were fresh & the rest of our orders of food were good. Decent sized servings for what you were paying. And a cool, fun atmosphere from what you would expect from a restaurant in the design district."

"Food was good, but not excellent. The same with the service, it was good but not excellent. It felt just a little bit like a touristy place, for example, when presenting the daily menu, the waiter said: “We have a Sole today, it’s the best fish you can eat”. Of course we know what a Sole is, but probably many clients here don’t know. Nice ambiance outside, however they wanted to give us a very bad table directly next to a huge (and loud) fan at first. Recommended if you are looking for a quick bite for lunch while shopping in the area, but I probably wouldn’t go here in the evening."
